Guardians of Life, First Aid at Your Fingertips ——Shanghai Longsheng Chemical Successfully Holds Specialized AED First Responder Training!

2026-04-10

Life has no rehearsals, and first aid cannot wait.

Behind every unexpected emergency lies a desperate need for first aid knowledge.

Every skilled and standardized action can buy precious time for a life in crisis.

To safeguard the personal safety of every employee, strengthen the company's workplace safety, and convey the warmth of a people-centered corporate culture, Shanghai Longsheng Chemical Co., Ltd. recently partnered with Tencent Penguin First Aid and the Shanghai Volunteer Service Public Welfare Foundation to host a specialized first responder training session. Employees from various departments voluntarily participated in this "life-saving lesson," acquiring emergency rescue skills and shouldering the responsibility of safety protection through theoretical learning and hands-on practice.

I. Learning with Heart, Forging the Foundation with Theory – Embedding Professional Knowledge Deep Within

Confidence in first aid stems from a solid theoretical foundation; the courage to protect begins with reverence for life.

At the start of the training, an experienced instructor, specializing in emergency rescue education, gently yet powerfully guided everyone on this journey of life protection.

Avoiding obscure technical jargon, the instructor used plain language and real-life workplace cases to explain the core principles of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) use in an accessible manner.

The instructor broke down the principles of first aid, operational boundaries, and contraindications, and reviewed the decisive role of the "golden four minutes" in real rescue cases, completely dispelling the misconception that "first aid is only for medical professionals."

The room was quiet and focused. Every employee listened attentively, actively raised their hands to ask questions and share concerns. Through repeated interactions, they internalized the first aid knowledge, laying a solid foundation for subsequent practice – because we deeply understand that every piece of knowledge could be the "key to saving a life" for oneself or others in the future.

II. Empowering Through Practice, Building Defense with Hands-On Training – Mastering Standard Procedures

Theory must be grounded in practice, and practice is paramount.

If theory is the "compass" of first aid, then hands-on practice is the "true skill" for protecting lives.

Following the theoretical learning, the training immediately moved to the core practical session. Using mannequins, first aid kits, and other professional equipment, the instructor adopted a "one-on-one demonstration, hands-on teaching" approach, transforming abstract knowledge into actionable, repeatable practical skills, guided by professionalism and patience.

For CPR, the instructor meticulously demonstrated the depth, rate, and correct hand placement for chest compressions, emphasizing that "compressions must be forceful" to avoid missing the critical window for rescue due to improper technique.

For AED operation, the instructor repeatedly demonstrated the procedure, with particular emphasis on the differences between operating on adults and children.

The instructor invited employees to come forward and practice, promptly correcting any non-standard movements to ensure every detail was precise.

Each practice session was filled with reverence for life, and each correction reflected a commitment to protection.

The instructor patiently answered every question and corrected every detail, ensuring that every participating employee could truly "understand, master, and apply" the skills – truly acquiring the hard skills needed to protect lives.

The atmosphere was enthusiastic. Employees actively volunteered for hands-on practice, and the instructor patiently corrected any non-standard actions until everyone mastered the standard procedures – truly achieving "understanding, mastery, and application."

III. Validating Through Assessment, Fulfilling Responsibility with Evaluation – Ensuring Training Effectiveness

The goal of assessment is not the test itself, but the mastery of skills.

To verify training effectiveness and ensure that every participating employee can proficiently use first aid skills and truly shoulder the responsibility of emergency protection, the training included a dedicated practical assessment. Using a "one-on-one evaluation with immediate correction" approach, the assessment strictly followed professional first aid standards to comprehensively examine complete CPR procedures and core AED operations.

During the assessment, participants remained calm and composed, completing each step correctly: chest compressions were firm and regular, each action demonstrating the results of diligent learning, and every detail conveying the responsibility of protecting lives.

For any minor errors in technique, the examiner provided on-the-spot guidance and re-demonstration, ensuring that everyone could not only pass the assessment but also respond calmly and rescue effectively in real emergencies – truly achieving "promoting learning through assessment, promoting practice through evaluation, and applying knowledge effectively."

A certificate represents responsibility; a successful assessment is a promise.

After rigorous evaluation, all employees successfully passed the test and received their first responder training certificates, officially becoming members of the company's emergency rescue team and adding a solid layer of strength to the company's safety defense.

"You may not always be able to save them, but your action at least gives them a chance to live."

One training session builds collective strength; one learning experience safeguards a community's safety.

This specialized first responder training not only equipped every participating employee with systematic emergency first aid knowledge and practical skills but also planted the seed of "safety first, protecting together" in their hearts, strengthening their sense of safety responsibility and emergency response capability. It added a layer of protection for employees' personal safety and demonstrated the company's people-oriented, caring corporate culture.

Safety is no small matter, and protection knows no bounds.

In the future, Shanghai Longsheng Chemical Co., Ltd. will continue to deepen safety training, regularly advance the development of its emergency rescue system, and ensure that first aid knowledge reaches every department and benefits every employee.

May we build a safety defense line with professionalism, walk the path of protection with warmth, and work together to create a safe, harmonious, and caring corporate home. With responsibility and compassion, may we guard every moment of hard work and every precious life!
